You might have to wait a few more years for a proper follow-up to The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, but if you’re itching for more adventures in Tamriel (who isn’t?), Bethesda revealed the first ever tabletop game set in its fantasy universe.

The Elder Scrolls: Call to Arms comes from Modiphius Entertainment and builds on the core mechanics the company developed for 2018’s Fallout: Wasteland Warfare. It’s a miniatures adventure you can play in a group or solo, managing stamina and Magicka resources, as well as your troops, across ruined outposts and decrepit forts.
There’s a promotional mini featuring Skyrim’s iconic Dragonborn, complete with scenic base, that you can purchase while you wait for the game’s launch. The figurine is a treasure – check it out below:

Mr. Dovahkiin, who is available for $19.99 USD, isn’t the only figurine you’ll be able to nab. Modiphius plans to release figurines for several Skyrim characters, including:
Yrsarald Thrice-Pierced
Mjoll the Lioness
Ulfric Stormcloak
Galmar Stone-Fist
General Tullius
Modiphius says it will release a Dragonborn single player set, and that “more races and characters from across the Elder Scrolls stories are planned.” (Can we please have a campaign surrounding Sheogorath? Thanks in advance.) This will include releases expanding on The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, as well as releases for The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, The Elder Scrolls Online, and more.
Call to Arms launches around Christmas 2019, although no official date has been announced. While you wait for this game – and the inevitable Skyrim follow-up – consider checking out The Elder Scrolls: Blades, available now on Android and iOS devices.
